New Contract in the Semiconductor Industry

In December 2010 HAGER + ELSÄSSER was awarded the contract for both, the ultrapure water systems and the waste water management for one of the most important chip manufacturers in Russia.

The waste water treatment system consists of several tratment lines with a total capacity of 80 m³/h.

The overall plant comprises the following main process steps:

Ultrapure water:

• Loop, Hook-up

Waste Water treatment:

• HF/PO4-precipitation
• CuCMP
• Neutralization
• Chemical supply
• Control System

The overall design and construction of the plant is to be based on basic and detail engineering by HAGER + ELSÄSSER, which will include the following:

• Mass Balance (Mass Flow Diagram - MFD)
• Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (PID)
• Heat Balance
• Detailed Equipment Schedules
• Drawings for tanks and other structures
• Process Descriptions
• Layout Drawings
• Pipework plans and specifications
• Instrumentation and Control Engineering

HAGER + ELSÄSSER will also supply the core components of the systems.

The commissioning of the plant is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2012.
